Jimmy Kimmel has a brutal response to JD Vance saying he’s ‘not funny’

Jimmy Kimmel may be back on television, but the conversation on his suspension – which would have lost Disney 1.7 million subscribers before putting it on the air – continues.

In the above monologue filmed during a special week of shows in New York, Kimmel plays a clip for vice-president JD Vance saying Jimmy Kimmel Live! has not been broadcast by certain stations because the host is “not funny”.

“I have good news for you J-DOG, we are back on all stations,” replied Kimmel, referring to the news that the owners of Nexstar and Sinclair television posts broadcast the Kimmel show again. He continues by playing another clip of Vance arguing that advertisers do not like Kimmel “because his notes are not very good”.

“Are my notes not very good?” Kimmel answers. “The last time I checked, your notes were somewhere between a hair in your salad and chlamydia.”
