Dr Dre Slams Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene For Using His Music

Dr. Dre accused the republican representative Marjorie Taylor Greene Monday of copyright after using the instrument of his song “Still Dre” in a shared video on Twitter.

Almost two minutes videoWho has now been removed from Twitter, would have shown Greene walking in the rooms of the congress at the slower of her song. The video also showed that Greene took a telephone call from “DT” – probably a reference to former President Donald Trump. The lawyers for the rapper and the producer sent a letter to stop and desceists on Monday, and he also weighed with a statement to Buzzfeed News.

“I do not dismiss my music to politicians, in particular someone of division and hatred that this one,” said Dre.

DRE lawyers, whose legal name is Andre Young, accused Greene of “wrongly exploiting this work through the various social media to promote your divider and hateful policy”.

“Mr. Young does not have, and will never grant you permission to broadcast or broadcast any of his music,” said the letter obtained by Buzzfeed News. “We could expect that, as a member of the Congress, you would have a familiarity transmitted with the laws of our country. It is possible, however, that the laws governing intellectual property are a little too arcanic and insufficiently populist so that you really had a lot of time.”

In the letter, DRE lawyers ask the Congress Member to “stop and refrain from any other unauthorized use of André Young’s music”.

“We write because we think that a real legislator should make laws, and not violate the laws, in particular those embodied in the constitution by the founding fathers,” said the letter.
