In 1980, Lady Goodall spoke to Terry Wogan of the BBC in the way she became interested in animals and shared some of her observations on the resemblance of chimpanzees with humans.
The primatologist and militant of animal rights, who revolutionized the study of wild chimpanzees, died at the age of 91.
