Cowboys RB Jaydon Blue set for NFL debut after ‘questionable decision’ on fashionable cleats causes blisters

Jaydon Blue, recruit of Dallas Cowboys, should make his long -awaited debut in the NFL this week against New York Jets, but his way to the field almost hit another hitch due to a choice of dubious taquets in practice. The choice of fifth round in Texas had been inactive for the first four games of the season with an ankle injury slowing down its early preparation and limiting its opportunities to train fully.
However, an unusual decision of shoes this week has almost derailed things. During Thursday training, Blue started a flashy pair of Louis Vuitton Nike Blue and White Crampons. Although they may be elegant, they quickly caused problems. Cowboys coach Brian Schottenheimer said when he saw the recruit sitting on the touch half of the practice, complaining of blisters.
“A small dubious decision. He went with new cool-Louis Vuitton, Nike crampons. They give you blisters. So, halfway out of practice, I saw him lengthen, and I said to myself:” What happened to blue? “” Schottenheimer said. “‘Well, the coach I’m fine, I have blisters.’ I said to myself: “Oh shock, look at your cool shoes that you have.”
Blue said one of the blisters on the heel was “really bad”.
“One of them was really bad, and the other was not as bad. … It was good at the start of training, then suddenly, they just started to hurt,” said Blue. “I had to remove them, it was bad.”
Despite the hiccups with his shoes, there is no concern about Blue’s availability for Sunday. With the status of uncertain Miles Sanders and turning it Kavontae Turpin which is still recovered, cowboys can use blue both as a balloon and an option on special teams. His versatility and athletics allow him to contribute to several roles could make him a key article to fill the gaps left by injuries.
For Blue, these beginnings represent an important step after a slow start to his professional career. Although Louis Vuitton’s crampons are not during the game, his speed could give Cowboys an additional spark while going to the Metlife Stadium for week 5.
