Government shutdown continues after another failed Senate bid to pass stopgap funding

Friday again, the Senate did not obtain 60 votes necessary to be over an obedium on a bill on stopgap expenditure to reopen the government, effectively allowing the closure to stop next week, because the room does not intend to stay in session this weekend.
