The Nobel Prize in medicine will be announced Monday, starting this year's awards

The Nobel Prizes 2025 begin on Monday with the price of medicine announced by a panel from the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. Officially known as the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, honor has been awarded 115 times to 229 winners of the Nobel Prize between 1901 and 2024. The prize for last year was shared by the Americans Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun for their discovery of microarn, tiny bites of genetic material that serve inside and out of the cells inside cells do and when they do.
