Pepsico Inc. recalled nearly 70,000 bottles of Lipton tea during a labeling error, According to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The flavor of green tea citrus of the brand, which contains 25 grams (g) of sugar per bottle, has been wrongly put in bottles labeled like a bay mixed with food green tea, which is supposed to be sugar without.
The incorrectly labeled bottles were then placed in 12 packs with the label of green tea citrus.

Pepsico launched the tea recall on September 17. On October 2, the FDA updated the recall and gave it the Second highest level of risk, class II, This means that consumption of tea “can cause undesirable consequences on temporary or medically reversible health or when the probability of serious harmful consequences on health is distant.”
The recall is still in progress.
The FDA did not provide specific instructions for this recall. However, as a class II reminder, The safest option is not to drink the tea recalled and to launch it or return it instead– Especially if you or a loved one suffer from diabetes or concerns you with sugar intake.
