Valdosta, Ga. – Valdosta, Ga. (AP) – A 2 -year -old boy in southern Georgia was attacked by two Rottweiler dogs and died in a license -free daycare center while the owner did school, police said.

Stacy Wheeler Cobb, the 48 -year -old owner who held the daycare at her home in Valdosta, at 228 miles (367 km) south of Atlanta, was accused of second degree and second degree murder towards the children, according to the prison archives.

COBB left the child unattended for more than two hours on Saturday, according to the Valdosta police service. They believe that he entered the courtyard of the house and opened the kennel with the two Rottweilers, who then “mutilated my baby when she died”, wrote the mother in a gofundme, describing images of the camera. When the police arrived around 3:45 p.m., the child was dead.

The 2 -year -old man was the only child at the COBB daycare, although there are generally 10, according to the police. COBB was taken to Lowndes County prison. The prison files did not indicate if COBB had a lawyer who could speak on his behalf, and the officials could not confirm if she had one.

A gofundme created by the child’s mother, Adrianna Jones, identified the boy like Kaimir Jones. The single mother said that something was wrong because COBB generally registers throughout the day, but she had not answered Jones for three hours. His “intuition” said that leaving work early, said Jones.

“It was a heartbreaking, devastating and traumatic scene that I would not like anyone,” wrote Jones.

The Rottweilers and a third dog at home were taken by the county of Lowndes County Animal Control.

The Valdosta police department said in an online article that the investigation was underway and that it expects more accusations.

“This is a horrible and tragic event that should never have occurred, but due to negligence in the name of this offender, a mother tragically lost a child,” said Leslie Manahan, Valdosta police chief.
