Man, 42, shot on Brooklyn street near Prospect Park, but keeps his cool
A man was shot Friday night on a Brooklyn street just blocks from Prospect Park, cops said.
Cops rushed to the scene near E. 18th St. and Church Ave. in Flatbush around 8:37 p.m., where a 42-year-old man was shot in the leg and abdomen.
“I came out and he was lying on his side, hit twice and bleeding,” a witness said. “Everyone was screaming and panicking. »
During this time, the victim remained calm.
“He was nice and calm,” the witness added, “talking on his cell phone to his baby mama. It’s crazy.”
Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to Kings County Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Cops believe the man was the intended target since the shooter walked straight toward him and fired two shots, police sources said.
No arrests have been made as police try to track down the shooter.
