‘Everything Innocent, Pure Was Ripped from Her’

In an exclusive interview in Washington, DC, for The Alex Marlow Show podcast, border czar Tom Homan became emotional while discussing a case he oversaw in which a young female migrant was repeatedly raped by cartel smugglers.

“The time I talked to a little girl, she was about 9 years old, when she took this journey through the cartels and was raped repeatedly by cartel members,” Homan told Breitbart editor Alex Marlow, fighting back tears. “Now, this little girl, her life will never be the same. Everything that was innocent and pure has been taken away from her.”

The girl’s case is one of many reasons why Homan says he is so motivated to secure the country’s borders and end illegal immigration.

“That’s what I fight hard for. And a lot of people ask me, ‘Why do you get emotional when you’re on TV?’ Why are you emotional in front of Congress? Because we can solve this problem,” Homan said.

“And I came back, we had the most secure border in the history of this country under Trump 45. The Biden administration came in and unlocked it voluntarily; it wasn’t by accident, it was intentional,” Homan continued.

“Every morning I woke up very upset because I knew from my years of experience and my investigations, how many people died last night? How many women or girls were sexually assaulted last night? How many were forced to work to pay the smuggling fees? How many pounds of fentanyl were found last night to kill Americans? How many people from terrorist countries entered last night? How much money Did cartel win last night?” Homan said.
