After Historic Peace Deal, New Poll About Trump Is Going to Make Obama Mad – RedState
President Donald Trump ushered in a historic Middle East peace deal, and a new poll shows his approval rating is better than that of former President Barack Obama and former President George W. Bush, now in their second terms.
In the Oct. 12 RealClearPolitics poll, Americans proved they overwhelmingly like what Trump has done over the past 10 months, giving him a 45.3 percent approval rating.

What the poll also showed is that Trump now has bragging rights over Bush and Obama because of this survey, given that Bush, at that point in his second presidential term, had an approval rating of 39.5 percent, and Obama’s second term approval rating was 44.4 percent.
One report highlighted what each former president was facing at that point in their second term.
At the same point in their respective second terms, Obama — then arming Islamist terrorists in Syria and facing pressure from his Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of conservative groups — had a rating of 44.4 percent, and George W. Bush — then grappling with the political fallout from Hurricane Katrina and a seemingly endless war in Iraq — had a rating of 39.5 percent.
As my RedState colleague Nick Arama reported, even the mainstream media couldn’t ignore President Trump’s incredible deal to end the war and the Israeli response at Tel Aviv Hostage Square on Saturday.

From Israel, Trump will then travel to Egypt to formally sign the 20-point plan.
What was astonishing was the attitude of the liberal media on the issue, particularly CNN.
Not only did they point out the “endless applause” for Trump, but anchor Wolf Blitzer even noticed the MAGA hats in the plaza.

“I even saw people wearing Make America Great Again hats in that crowd at Hostage Square.”

Trump outperforming his predecessors is truly astonishing, given that he did so even amid the all-out onslaught of negative left-wing media coverage of his second term. This media coverage has included biased reporting on Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s actions to rid our country of criminal illegal aliens by giving glowing coverage to anti-ICE protests across the country.
Not to mention the attacks Trump and his administration have received for sending the National Guard to help local law enforcement suppress crime in Washington, D.C., Nashville and more.
As RedState recently reported, the narrative that Democrats have tried to present, aided by their friends in the media, that Americans are unhappy about these things doesn’t hold water. Carry on, President Trump.
