Angel Reese and Suni Lee Shared a Full-Circle Moment at the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
Last night, a new Victoria’s Secret Angel got her wings—and that angel happens to be a star WNBA player. On October 15, Angel Reese became the first-ever pro athlete to earn this honor during the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York City.
The 23-year-old Chicago Sky forward and newly minted VS Angel made her debut in extravagant floral lingerie with a boa before donning a custom set of sparkling wings and a ripped T-shirt that framed her lacy pink Dream Angels Wicked Unlined Lace Balconette Bra ($50) and matching Lace Brazilian Panty ($20).
Like with everything the basketball player and entrepreneur does, she worked hard to prepare for this moment, telling Vogue she even pulled runway coach Alexander Aleson out of retirement to help her train for the big event. Of course, she also watched plenty of tape (as any self-respecting athlete is wont to do).
“I watched a lot of Tyra, I watched a lot of Naomi, I watched Adriana Lima,” she tells Vogue, breaking down differences in their walks. “Tyra does a nice little bounce; Naomi’s more fierce. I’m not really [emulating] the exact walk, but more of the gestures and mannerisms—small things, like a little smize.”
