‘Squad’ Member’s Campaign Spent Thousands On Luxury Limousine Services
The campaign of progressive “Squad” member and Michigan Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib spent more than $30,000 on limousine services, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings.
Tlaib’s campaign spent thousands of dollars between October 2024 and September 2025 on “Aline Luxury Limo Services,” a company apparently based in Detroit, according to FEC filings for those months.
Rashida Tlaib’s campaign payments were reported on the Federal Election Commission (FEC) website.

No information about Aline Luxury Limo Services appears to be publicly available. However, an archived version of the now-defunct DTW Chauffeured Rides website describes itself as a limousine service providing luxury transportation for over a decade. A search of the company in the Michigan Business Registry returns a result for Aline Luxury Limo Service, Inc.
DTW’s website says it has been providing “luxury transportation for over a decade. We offer a range of vehicles, from classic limousines to modern sedans and SUVs, and our team of professional chauffeurs is dedicated to making your experience perfect from start to finish.” It further notes that the company is “committed to providing a premium experience at an affordable price, and that we take every measure to ensure the safety and security of our customers and our team.”
Tlaib, the first woman of Palestinian descent in Congress and a leading progressive voice, has consistently spoken out in favor of higher taxes on the wealthy. In September, she joined forces with independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders to introduce the Tax Excessive CEO Pay Act, aimed at limiting the salaries of America’s highest-paid executives.
Tlaib argued that working-class individuals are “tired of corporate greed” and that business leaders earn “290 times more than their average worker.”

“At a time of extreme income and wealth inequality, when 60 percent of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, this budget is absolutely devastating for the working families we represent,” Tlaib added.
