JD Vance Challenges Dems to Denounce Mamdani Appearing With 1993 WTC Bombing ‘Unindicted Co-Conspirator’ – RedState

As I wrote earlier Saturday, Vice President JD Vance was on hand to deliver a speech to an enthusiastic crowd of Marines at the United States Marine Corps 250th Anniversary Celebration at Camp Pendleton in California.

But he managed to find the time, before arriving at the base, to give his opinion on the latest revelations concerning Zohran Mamdani, the man whom the Democrats are defending to become the next mayor of New York.

In case you missed the news, here is Bonchie to give us an update on Mamdani who seems to have abandoned in recent days any pretense of being anything other than an aficionado of radical Islamist thought:

Who is Imam Siraj Wahhaj? This is a complex issue, not because its past is morally opaque, but because its history of direct support for Islamic terrorism is very long.

1) He was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.

2) He called for the establishment of an Islamic state in America, calling on Muslim immigrants to “establish the religion of Allah.”

3) He called for ending democracy in favor of Islamic law.

4) He testified in defense of Omar Abdel-Rahman, otherwise known as “Blind Sheikh.”

5) He repeatedly encouraged Muslims to use political power in America in the service of Islam.

6) He has three children who have been charged with terrorism offenses.

The revelation via the Democrat’s own social media post Friday came after months of campaigning dragged on, with few major national Democrats willing to throw their support behind Mamdani. And when the media is faced with pressing questions about Mamdani’s adamant refusal to denounce Hamas and radical Muslims, the result is often little more than farcical word salad like that thrown around by Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin in July.

Vance wrote: “I have been reliably informed that Democrats are opposed to any form of political violence, so I look forward to them universally condemning Zohran Mamdani for campaigning with an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorist plot that killed 6 New Yorkers. »

In response to the tweet, he shared a NY Post article about the radical imam and this damning image of him campaigning with Mamdani. The headline states it: “New York Post: Mamdani appears smiling, arm in arm with unindicted co-conspirator of 1993 WTC attacks and terrorism apologist.” »

Vance is not wrong here. This is absolutely not a topic that Democrats want to discuss, and there is only one reason for that. They fail to square the circle when it comes to political violence, because it reveals what they and we know about the far-left fringe of the Democratic Party. This is the main source of the recent politically-related violence that everyone has witnessed. Unfortunately for them, it was this very sector of their base that they launched into – as a strategy to ensure their future survival as a party. This isn’t exactly the problem conservatives need to worry about.
