Zohran Mamdani’s 9/11 Comments Show He’s Feeling Himself, and You Can’t Fathom How Bad It’s Going to Get – RedState

Barring a cataclysm, Zohran Mamdani will be the next mayor of New York, and he is starting to realize it. It’s hard to say the mask was ever really worn on the 33-year-old nepo communist baby who has never held a real job, but with his latest initiatives, all pretense is now aside.

After all, why should he worry about maintaining broad appeal when he’s running in one of the most left-leaning cities in the country, whose voters seem more than happy to hand him the keys no matter what radical positions he takes? Understand, however, that this goes beyond general policy differences over rent control and public grocery stores. The same Islamic radicalization we’ve seen in places like London is now on the menu in the Big Apple, and Mamdani is no longer afraid to show that that’s his goal.

Pay attention to what’s happening here.

This attempt at role reversal is useful. This is a deliberate decision by those in power to turn the worst terrorist attack in American history, perpetrated by Islamist terrorists, into a referendum on the United States. You’ve probably seen Norm MacDonald’s joke about this, but what made it so funny was that it wasn’t actually satire. This highlighted a very real political strategy aimed at normalizing a radical ideology disguised as religion while marginalizing anyone who might stop and think about the consequences of doing so.

Unfortunately, much of this was initiated by former President George W. Bush, who went out of his way after 9/11 to proclaim Islam the “religion of peace” even though its doctrines and history clearly showed otherwise. His misguided and naive campaign to win “hearts and minds” has created an environment not in which “Islamophobia” manifests itself, but in which Americans cower, afraid to dare question everything they see about Islam, both at home and abroad.

We can now see the results, where radicalism has flourished and Muslims wear their desire for conquest on their sleeves. This is how Mamdani proudly offers his support to an imam who was an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing and who called for the establishment of an Islamic state in America. The guardrails have been dismantled and thrown into the sea because too many Americans have convinced themselves that it is “bigotry” to speak out against these things.

Sure enough, Mamdani uses this charge as a weapon as his confidence in victory grows.

I analyzed the statistics before showing that “Islamophobia” is only slightly more prevalent than anti-Catholicism and is in no way comparable to anti-Semitism when it comes to hate crimes. Yet it is continually treated as a national (and international) epidemic. Again, this is intentional. Seizing power and promoting Islamization requires beating your opponents to the point where they will no longer fight back. If you convince enough people that their rejection of Islamic ideals is intolerance, they will eventually rush to the polls to vote themselves and be forgotten. This is what we have seen happening in Europe and, unfortunately, most of these countries have probably reached a point of no return.

What’s about to happen in New York is the canary in the coal mine. None of this stops there, and Islam does not hide its objective. As has always been the case throughout its history, it is about conquering and taking control.

Editor’s note: Schumer’s closure is here. Rather than putting the American people first, Chuck Schumer and radical Democrats forced a government shutdown on health care for illegal immigrants. They own that.
