Highlights from the Dodgers’ World Series championship parade

The Los Angeles Dodgers went from expecting a championship parade to back-to-back celebrations.

After forcing a seven-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays, the Dodgers defended their crown with a 5-4 victory in 11 innings Saturday to repeat as World Series champions.

This is the first time in 25 years that a franchise has won consecutive MLB titles.

Los Angeles took just one day off after winning the World Series before celebrating the championship with its home fans.

The parade began at Temple Street and Broadway Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. It turned from Temple Street onto Grand Avenue, then went down 7th Street and ended on Figueroa Street.

Los Angeles then concluded with a sold-out rally at Dodger Stadium.
