Nomad has announced updated versions of its Stand One and Stand One Max hubs that now support the Qi2.2 standard for faster wireless charging rates of up to 25W when used with compatible smartphones like the Pixel 10 Pro XL and iPhone 16 and 17 series. Like previous versions, the new Stand One and Stand One Max are made from a mix of glass and CNC-machined aluminum, making them both stylish and robust. A braided USB-C cable is included, but each requires you to provide your own 40W USB-C charger. According to an FAQ on Nomad’s site, the company believes that “many people already own multiple power adapters and providing additional units creates unnecessary waste.”

The new version of the Stand One is available now for $119 from Nomad’s online store in silver or carbide color options. It weighs 575 grams, or over 1.2 pounds, and comes with another upgrade besides Qi2.2 compatibility. Nomad has added a second wireless charger to the base, tucked behind the angled phone stand, which can charge AirPods “and most other wireless charging-enabled headphones” at rates of 5W.

The new Qi2.2 compatible version of the Stand One Max is also now available on Nomad’s online store for $159 in Carbide or Silver colors. It carries over the improved design from the previous model that allows smartphones to be attached horizontally to the stand while an Apple Watch is simultaneously charged. The original version had a design flaw that prevented this. And while Nomad’s updated Stand One gains a charger for AirPods, the 875-gram heavier Stand One Max carries over earphone charging from its predecessor. Behind the vertically mounted Apple Watch charger is a recess where most Qi-compatible wireless earphone cases can be placed to top them off at 5W.
