The second-best webcam has solved its fatal flaw

eMeet’s Piko+ webcam was the best new webcam I’ve seen in 2025, but it had one flaw: The version sent to me for review included a tripod, but no webcam stand. This year, eMeet quietly fixed this problem and you can now purchase a “traditional” version of the webcam on Amazon.
Webcams have simply gotten better over time, but the quality of the eMeet Piko+ has been eye-opening. It’s a strange little dual-lens 4K camera that works particularly well in the dim light cast by a screen, with decent performance in fuller, more natural light.
My only issue at the time I reviewed it was that only a tripod option was available. For me, a tripod means an easy opportunity to jostle the webcam, or for one of my kids or a stray cat to move it or knock it over completely. A webcam that can be mounted on a monitor or screen is up and out of the way.
Interestingly, eMeet appears to have replaced the tripod-mounted Piko+ with the more traditional, “out of stock” version of the model I reviewed. I’ve updated the link on my Piko+ review to reflect the “traditional” webcam. However, if you prefer a tripod, the Piko+ includes the standard screw hole, so you can either get a cheap tripod or use an existing one that you may already own.
Regardless, I really liked eMeet’s Piko+, and it comes in second for best webcam on our list of best webcams for 2025.
Currently priced at around $90, it falls between cheaper budget models at around $35-$50 and ultra-high-end webcams priced around $200. I can’t say what Black Friday sales have in store for this webcam, but it looks like Amazon’s lowest price ever is around $76.
Get it now or wait; but add it to your wish list. The eMeet Piko+ is a quality webcam at a quality price.
