What Elections? Team Trump Takes Out Another Drug Boat in ‘Kinetic Strike’ – Their 16th So Far – RedState

Elections happening in New Jersey, Virginia, California and other areas this Tuesday night aren’t going the Republicans’ way, but that doesn’t mean the world stops. The news continues.

And on Tuesday evening, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced on social media that U.S. forces had removed another drug boat — their 16th to date – and eliminated their 66th suspected trafficker.

Watch:

Hegseth’s message continues:

Intelligence confirmed that the vessel was involved in narcotics smuggling, transiting a known drug trafficking route and transporting narcotics. The strike was carried out in international waters in the Eastern Pacific.

No US forces were injured in the attack and two male narcoterrorists – who were on board the ship – were killed.

We will find and stop ALL ships intending to smuggle drugs to America to poison our citizens. Protecting the homeland is our top priority. NO cartel terrorists stand a chance against the US military.

America’s “war on drugs” has arguably been failing for decades, while China keeps fentanyl flowing and all manner of substances regularly cross our southern border. Trump, however, takes a different approach: hitting where it hurts. This has of course sparked enthusiasm among those on the left who accuse him of violations of international law and extrajudicial procedures, but it does not appear to have slowed down either the president or Hegseth.

MORE: Oh no. The war powers group is going after President Trump for his attacks on drug cartels.

It’s the 16th of the administrationth operation in recent months:

Two suspected drug traffickers aboard a ship were killed in a U.S. military drone strike, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said Tuesday.

The “deadly kinetic strike” was ordered by President Donald Trump and carried out in international waters in the eastern Pacific Ocean on a vessel operated by a designated terrorist organization (DTO), Hegseth said.

The strike is the 16th since Trump began targeting drug smuggling boats suspected of transporting illegal drugs to the United States.

At least 66 suspected narcoterrorists were killed in these strikes and three survived.

Trump has significantly increased pressure on Venezuela and its dictator, Nicolás Maduro, and has also actively called out the South American nation of Colombia and its president, Gustavo Petro. He decided he wasn’t going to stand by and watch the seemingly endless flow of hardcore drugs from these countries onto our streets.

The controversy over the legality of these operations will continue, but in the meantime, I advise you not to travel on speedboats on the coast of Venezuela anytime soon:

The US military has increased its presence in the Caribbean, deploying bombers, warships and Marines as part of a broader campaign targeting drug trafficking and so-called “narcoterrorist” networks operating near Venezuela.

The Trump administration has created a new joint counternarcotics task force, operating near U.S. Southern Command, with the goal of “crushing the cartels, stopping the poison, and keeping America safe.”

The task force will coordinate air, maritime and special operations missions throughout the region, constituting the largest U.S. military effort in the Caribbean in decades.

Stay nervous, drug dealers. You have every reason to be.

Editor’s note: The Schumer ruling is here. Rather than putting the American people first, Chuck Schumer and radical Democrats forced a government shutdown on health care for illegal immigrants. They own that.
