President Donald Trump’s name appears in Jeffrey Epstein’s emails, released Wednesday by lawmakers. Democrats initially released three emails, all of which concerned Trump, before the Republican-led House Oversight Committee released more than 20,000 additional pages of emails. Democrats exploited emails for evidence proving Trump conspired with the convicted sex offender to abuse women and girls. They had to resort to straws.

For example, in a 2019 email, Epstein claims that Trump “knew about the girls.” The full sentence says: “of course he knew the girls as he asked [G]hislaine [Maxwell] Stop. » This isn’t quite the nail in the coffin that Democrats were hoping to find, although there is a possible inconsistency with Trump denying any knowledge of Epstein’s criminal behavior.
