IDF kills terrorists breaching Gaza’s Yellow Line in two separate Monday incidents
The terrorists were seen planting suspicious objects and approaching IDF troops stationed near Gaza’s Yellow Line, the army said.
The Israeli army killed several terrorists as they crossed Gaza’s Yellow Line in two separate events on Monday, the army said in a statement.
One of the terrorists was seen “planting suspicious objects in the ground next to the troops” and was subsequently beaten. “The remaining terrorists fled the scene towards the area west of the Yellow Line,” the statement said.
Another terrorist attempted to approach IDF troops stationed near the Yellow Line and was killed because he “posed an immediate threat”, the army added.
Zamir hints that IDF would take control of other areas of the Yellow Line
This comes after Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir on Sunday commented on the possibility of taking control of areas across the Yellow Line.
“We must prepare for a rapid transition to large-scale activity aimed at establishing operational control of areas of the Gaza Strip, if necessary.”

“Our troops continue to operate along the Yellow Line to clear the area and eliminate terrorist strongholds,” Zamir continued, noting that the IDF will respect its directives until Hamas is disarmed and Gaza demilitarized.
On Sunday, the IDF published a post on social media explaining how the terrorists attempted to cross the Yellow Line from Gaza.
The army noted that “terrorists have been identified crossing the line almost every day, threatening IDF troops.”
