Watch” Trump and Mamdani speak after first meeting

Donald Trump and Zohran Mamdani exchanged kind words after an Oval Office meeting both described as “productive” and “great.”

Mamdani said the two discussed affordability, housing and ways to improve New York City.

The meeting between the two men was expected to be a confrontation after months of heated rhetoric. Trump has in the past called Mamdani a “communist,” while Mamdani has called the president a “fascist.”

When asked about his past comments, Trump allowed Mamdani to call him a “fascist.”
