Gallant was evacuated due to security threat
Sources familiar with the matter said the Shin Bet evacuation order was issued because of the location of Gallant’s home and the nature of the threat. They stressed, however, that the level of risk Gallant faces remains exceptionally high.
No details have ever been officially released regarding the nature of the threat or the circumstances surrounding it.
Gallant and his wife declined to comment on the matter.
