Lifetime Surveillance of Astronaut Health (LSAH) NASA

The Lifetime Astronaut Health Monitoring (LSAH) program collects, analyzes, and interprets medical, physiological, hazard exposure, and environmental data with the goal of maintaining the health and safety of astronauts as well as preventing occupational injuries or illnesses related to spaceflight or spaceflight training. It enables NASA to effectively understand and mitigate the long-term health risks associated with human spaceflight, as well as support the physical and mental well-being of astronauts on future exploration missions.
The LSAH newsletter serves to inform and update former astronauts on how their medical data is used by the LSAH team. It is published and distributed twice a year.
