Bengals slammed as ‘dumb’ for Shemar Stewart contract mistake

Cincinnati Bengals continue to have heat for the deadlock of the Shemar Stewart contract.

While heat is addressed to Stewart himself so as not to have put ink on paper and practice with his teammates, the long history of contractual problems of Bengals (not to mention the current problem with Trey Hendrickson) continues to set them up.

The last one comes from Robert Mays during an appearance at the Mina Kimes Show.

“No matter who it was, doing this with a guy you drafted in the first round is stupid in itself,” said Mays. “The guy, who is the raising player you could have recovered in the first round, without obtaining each representative in practice in a season where, once again, you rightly want to win your division and you want to win eliminatory matches, is very frustrating.”

It’s certainly a way to look at it. For any reason, the Bengals have decided right away was the time to reset the previous contractual with regard to the urination of guarantees. This, once again, despite the dead end of the Hendrickson contract.

And that, despite the importance of improving the defense around the youth movement led by Al Golden, regardless of Mays’ comments on the fact that Stewart is a raw perspective.

If it was not the Bengals and the above does not exceed, perhaps the Stewart saga does not have as much national coverage. But the fact that he did not even practice was unusual, which threw the Bengals under a microscope.
