Georgia’s historic election interference case against President Trump and his allies for their efforts to overturn the 2020 election is no more.

A Georgia judge granted a motion to dismiss on Wednesday.

The business was already in trouble. After the Fulton County prosecutor who brought the indictment, Fani Willis, was removed from the case, the head of the Georgia Prosecutors Council took over the case. That prosecutor, Pete Skandalakis, requested the case be dismissed.

Trump pleaded not guilty.

This is breaking news and will be updated.
