Amazon is selling Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at the old cheap price

Gamers of all stripes panicked when Microsoft raised its Game Pass subscription prices by 50% two months ago – which is why it’s great that Amazon is ignoring Microsoft’s demands and selling Game Pass Ultimate at the “old” price of $59.99 for a three-month code.
For me, the three-month $59.99 Game Pass Ultimate deal is the biggest deal: it covers both Xbox and PC and gives you the most access to the most games. There was a huge scandal when Microsoft raised its Game Pass prices, but it’s a bit like the flaws Microsoft has quietly hidden in some of its Windows upgrades – you know, the ones you’re not officially supposed to know about, but are (or were) there.
Basically, Amazon saves you $30. Good!
Amazon is also offering deals for the one-month Game Pass subscription, for a slightly reduced price of $18.99. And, if you’re strictly a PC gamer, you can also purchase a three-month code for PC Game Pass for $35.99. These are all “old” prices, so the price increases have not taken effect.
Note that these are digital codes, so instead of Amazon sending you a scratch card, ordering this deal will cause Amazon to drop it into your “Games & Software Library” section of your Amazon account. At this point you will need to register the code with your Xbox account.
Look, I’m a big believer in just linking my Microsoft account to Microsoft Rewards and not paying for it. Nothing Linked to Microsoft, Game Pass included. I know many of you have also completely abandoned Game Pass and moved on. But if you want to keep Game Pass and want to stick it to the man and buy Game Pass at the “old” price, this is the way to go. And none of us have any idea how long this deal will last.
