You can pick up 32GB of DDR5 RAM with a whole PC for $999 for Black Friday

If you were hoping for a big deal on RAM during Black Friday, well, stop being stupid. Depending on which RAM kit you want, buying it now might be too expensive to justify, an unfortunate trend that my colleague Sean Hollister recently pointed out. You can either wait out this period of price spikes, or if you’re getting into PCs for the first time and want to play games at 1080p, get a good deal on a prebuilt gaming PC with decent specs for the price.
Builder iBuyPower has a few discounted machines, including its Element SE, which is down to $999 ($300 off) at Walmart. This PC comes with AMD’s Ryzen 7 8700F processor, Nvidia’s mid-range RTX 5060 Ti (8GB) GPU, a 1TB SSD, and 32GB of that precious DDR5 clocked at 5,200MHz, all packaged in a nice three-panel tempered glass case. Here are the full specs, as listed on the iBuyPower site.
If you’re OK with upgrading to the RTX 5060, cutting the RAM in half, and replacing the AMD processor with the equally powerful Intel Core i5 14400F, Best Buy’s version of the Element SE is currently on sale for an all-time low price of $779.99 ($260 off). It comes in the same case, with the same 600W 80 Plus Gold power supply.
