Man in custody following a series of arson fires in Center City Philadelphia

A man is in custody following a series of arsons in the city center early Tuesday morning.
Police said numerous fires were started along the 1700 block of Ranstead Street, continuing for a few blocks to 19th and Sansom streets, near the Philadelphia Stock Exchange.
Fires were also reported in the 1700 block of Chestnut Street.
Police arrested the man at 3 a.m. near 15th Street and JFK Boulevard.
His identity has not been revealed.
No charges have been filed.
