BBB a ‘Political Death Warrant,’ GOP Will Lose over 40 House Seats
CNN analyst Paul Begala said on Thursday on “Anderson Cooper 360” that the “big and beautiful bill” was a “mandate of political death” which will lead the republican party to lose the majority in the mid-term elections of 2026.
Begala said, “Hakeem Jeffries gave Democrats a voice today. He set the new record for a speech in the House. They do not have a bedroom filibusters, but they have this rule which allows the leader to speak almost unlimited. So he continued for hours, and he focused on Medicaid, focused on health care. ”
He continued: “I thought Hakeem today was great. They are right to focus on Medicaid. They are right to bring it back to this contrast. They will reduce taxes for the rich and remove your Medicaid. ”
Begala added: “Everyone knows that if you leave the Republicans in a single room with the extinct lights, they will reduce taxes for the rich and remove your health care. It is therefore something that we have 60 to 70 years of experience and muscle memory. The Republicans tried the last time they tried to overtake Obmaw for the rich. Obamacare.
