Mixed Nuts Recalled in 9 States Due to Salmonella Contamination Risk

Wegmans has issued a recall of mixed nuts sold at its stores in nine states and Washington, D.C., the company announced Tuesday. Nuts may contain Salmonellaa leading cause of foodborne illness, hospitalizations and death in the United States. Wegmans has not said whether there have been any infections linked to the contaminated nuts.
The recall involves two Wegmans mixed nut products:

The recalled items were sold at Wegmans stores located in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, DC.
