Dem Who Wore Pink Latex Gloves in Viral COVID Meltdown Wants RFK Jr Impeached for Ignoring the ‘Science’ – RedState
Democratic Rep. Haley Stevens (MI-11), who suffered a COVID viral scare in 2020 involving pink latex gloves and a plea for the American people to listen to Dr. Anthony Fauci, introduced articles of impeachment against Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Wednesday.
The premise behind the impeachment attempt, you see, is that RFK is allegedly not a mental slave to “science.”
Stevens accuses Kennedy of “turning his back on science” and endangering public safety through his policies and statements.
“Today I formally introduced articles of impeachment against Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. RFK Jr. has turned his back on science and the safety of the American people. The people of Michigan cannot stand another day of his chaos,” she wrote on social media.

“I’m not one for political theater,” Stevens told the New York Times. “I stand up for the health and safety of the people I represent. Clearly these are life and death issues for people.”
Which is rich on two fronts:
- With Republicans in control of Congress, there is virtually a zero percent chance that the House will vote on its minor items, and probably less that zero percent chance of a Senate trial. Which means that it is 100 percent political theater.

To be honest, the pandemic had a tendency to disturb the minds of the weak for a while.
Stevens, at the time, was advocating on the House floor for a more than $2 trillion relief package during the coronavirus outbreak. A relief package that contributed to inflation that wreaked economic havoc for years.
For many, the latex gloves were somewhat confusing, coming from the mask-wearing crazy fringe, but allow him to explain: “I stand before you, adorning these latex gloves not for personal attention, not for personal attention but to encourage you to take this disease seriously,” Stevens said, clearly seeking personal attention.
“The COVID-19 outbreak has spread across our country. Listen to the scientists and doctors who have spent their entire lives in this space. Listen to Dr. Fauci, now is not the time to offer the false comfort of times gone by,” she added.
It turns out there was no one on the planet more out of touch with science than the criminally negligent Fauci. But it’s RFK who’s the problem here.
Stevens was also caught at the time posting an image of President Trump as the Grim Reaper responsible for the deaths of elderly people. Because science, y’all!
HHS spokesman Andrew Nixon rejected the impeachment attempt, saying Kennedy “remains focused on working to improve Americans’ health and reduce costs, not partisan political stunts.”
