Spartans extend offer to 1,000-yard transfer portal wide receiver

Michigan State football is the latest powerhouse program to extend an offer to a transfer wide receiver prospect that is generating plenty of buzz.
Corey Scott of Division II West Florida announced Thursday that he has received an offer from the Spartans. Scott publicized the Spartans’ offer by posting it on his X social media account.

Scott will be a redshirt junior next season, meaning he will have two years of eligibility remaining. Last season, Scott recorded 63 receptions for 1,018 yards and four touchdowns for West Florida. He is 6-foot-1, 180 pounds and is from Jacksonville.
According to Scott’s social media account, he has received offers and/or interest from Iowa, Minnesota, UCLA, Cincinnati, Temple, Akron, Appalachian State, Arkansas State, Western Kentucky, Marshall, Georgia State, Georgia Southern and Florida Atlantic.
