“KTC defines the megpad A32Q7Pro as a portable and intelligent and tactile instructor,” said KTC spokesperson. “It combines key features of an intelligent screen and a large screen tablet. Although it shares certain features with intelligent televisions, tablets and monitors, it does not fully belong to a single traditional category. It is a hybrid device designed to fill these use cases.”

Many devices such as the MEGPAD represent a push for more non -Google devices fed by Android which were supported by a program launched by Google in 2022, the license agreement for Enterprise (EDLA) devices.

As explained by partners like Benq, Edla is a way for third parties to incorporate Google Mobile Services (GMS), which are the most commonly used applications and APIs of Google for use on different types of devices. GMS applications include popular software like Google Drive, Gmail, Google Play Store and YouTube.

“Previously, GMS was officially available for smartphones, tablets, televisions and portable devices. In the new Edla, the list of GMS certification devices has now been extended to include business solutions such as Smart Boards,” said a Benq blog, which has certified EDLA, readings.

Since 2022, (the LG Stanbyme year has launched), there has been an increase in non -Google devices with this Edla certification. One of the categories that take advantage of the new program is tablets on Wheels, such as the Megpad and similar options from Kefeya, Apolosign, Innocn and Durapro.

Demonstrating the marketing value of EDLA certification, the MEGPAD product page can be read as follows: “Google Edla certification offers safe and direct access to Google services and Google Play Store with regular updates, providing greater stability and data protection than open application ecosystems with not understood applications.”

Most EDLA certified devices seem to be interactive screens used for education. With EDLA certification, devices like the MEGPAD can also draw the attention of educators or even companies. Meanwhile, Google is happy to distribute EDLA certifications because they can stimulate the adoption of Android, giving Google more data and access to customers outside of typical Android devices, such as phones. Products like the MEGPAD can also be easier to buy (Google likes when people use its offers to shop) than Android devices with smaller screens.
