Kelly Clarkson delays Las Vegas residency debut to ‘protect’ her voice

Kelly Clarkson postponed the opening of her residence to Las Vegas a few hours before starting.
“Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions – The Las Vegas Residency”, which was announced in February, was initially starting at the Caesars Palace Colosseum on July 4. There were 18 performances scheduled until November 15.
People Magazine reported that only a few hours before she was supposed to go on stage, the singer went to Instagram and announced that she would postpone the show in order to protect her voice.

“We worked 24/7 to make studio sessions the most intimate and extraordinary experience with and for my incredible fans,” wrote the 43 -year -old. “I am more than grateful to present to you for me and I am devastated to have to postpone this evening and the opening of tomorrow in Caesars.
“Preparation and rehearsals have wreaked havoc on my voice,” said Clarkson. “I want the shows to be perfect for you and I have to protect myself from serious damage, so I take this weekend and next week to rest so that we can deliver what you deserve.
“The show is really incredible,” said Clarkson. “The musicians and singers are exceptional, and I want us to start strong. I can’t wait to return next weekend and show what we worked on.”

Fox News Digital contacted the “American Idol” alum to comment.
Many fans quickly took the comments section to express their disappointment. Others have expressed wishes for the star.
“I am a big fan and I went here from Boston spending thousands of tickets and hotels to watch your show tomorrow for my 40th anniversary,” wrote a user. “I really want you to be in good health, but that the cancellation of this delay has such a huge financial impact on your faithful fans.”

“I was so excited for the opening evening,” shared another. “We were all so excited by queuing all day. I hope you feel better.”
“I want you to have done it earlier than 15 minutes before the doors opened,” wrote one of them. “I hope you feel better.”
“Inta de Ny for the two shows of the opening weekend,” added a person. “Devastated does not cut it, but your health must come first. Will he soon Kelly.”

Earlier in the day, Clarkson shared photos of herself by repeating on stage with the legend “Tonight !!”
According to People, Clarkson had a closed counter commitment to the PH from Vegas to Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in 2023 and 2024.

In March, the singer “from U Belle Gone” marked an important step with her 1,000th episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show”. At the time, Clarkson admitted to her fans that she had “lost” a lot throughout the program.
“I cannot believe that today marks the 1000th. It’s crazy,” she told a roaring crowd. “We met extremely talented people, tons of large stars and everyday inspiring heroes.
“For 1,000 episodes, we laughed together, we cried with beautiful stories, sung with certain people, danced together, celebrated and contributed together.”

“I lost, alone, a lot,” she said, but she didn’t explain what she was referring to.
Her fans sympathized with her, saying “AWW” in the background.
“It’s good,” replied Clarkson, seeming to raise the shoulders of his vulnerable comment.
The Crooner “Miss Independent” thought about how, during the five -year trip of her program, she and her crew and her audience “created a community and supported themselves by many ups and downs”.

“Many ups and downs personally,” she said, seeming to refer to her own life.
“And along the way, we found comfort in each other,” said Clarkson. “I am grateful to all those who were part of this trip. It was so cool.”

Clarkson was absent for almost two weeks while a variety of celebrities acted as guest hosts. She returned only on March 18 to that another guest host takes her place the next day. She returned for the episode of March 20. At the time, Clarkson’s representatives did not immediately respond to the request for comments from Fox News Digital.

The 1,000th episode of Clarkson came after having endured a few tumultuous years, sailing a very publicized divorce from his ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock. The divorce was settled in 2022 and Clarkson received the main physical guard from their two children, River and Remington.
