Trump to highlight accomplishments in White House address Wednesday

President Donald Trump will highlight his administration’s accomplishments in its first year back in office in his White House speech Wednesday evening.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt previewed her speech during a press briefing Tuesday, telling reporters that Trump would look to highlight his victories over the past 11 months.
“As you all saw on Truth Social, President Trump is going to deliver an address to the nation tomorrow night, live from the White House at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. I know you will all be tuning in,” Leavitt said.
“I was just in the Oval Office with the president discussing this. He’s going to talk a lot about the accomplishments of the last 11 months, everything he’s done to bring our country back to greatness, and everything he continues to plan to continue serving the American people over the next three years,” she continued.

Leavitt later added, on Fox News’ “American Reports,” that Trump could also “tease some policies that will be implemented in the new year as well.”
Trump first announced his speech publicly on his Truth Social account, telling his supporters that “the best is yet to come!” »
“My fellow Americans: I will deliver an ADDRESS TO THE NATION tomorrow evening, LIVE FROM THE WHITE HOUSE, at 9 p.m. EST. I look forward to ‘seeing’ you then. This has been a great year for our country, and THE BEST IS YET TO COME!” Trump wrote.

The Trump administration touted its economic agenda throughout the final months of the year, including the Big, Beautiful Bill, its tariff program and its policies putting American workers first.
Trump began selling his economic achievements in a speech in Pennsylvania last week, and will do the same this week in North Carolina.

This speech also comes against a backdrop of high tensions with Venezuela, as the Trump administration targets that country’s leaders.
