The India and Georgia-based channels had a combined 2 million subscribers and collectively garnered more than 1 billion views, according to Deadline. YouTube’s decision comes after the platform suspended ads on Screen Culture and KH Studio earlier this year, according to the Deadline report.

“After their initial suspension, these channels made the necessary corrections in order to be readmitted to the YouTube Partner Program,” Jack Malon, a YouTube spokesperson, said in a statement shared with CNET. “However, once again monetized, they reverted to blatant violations of our spam and misleading metadata policies, and as a result, they were banned from the platform.”
