KANSAS CITY, MO, USA. (AP) — The Kansas City Reales are getting veteran pitcher Matt Strahm back when they acquire former Los Filis All-Star from Filadelfia in a trade for right-hander Jonathan Bowlan.

Strahm, 34, has started for four teams over the span of those seasons in the Grand Leagues.

After his first two campaigns with the Reales, they selected him in the 21st round of the 2012 First-Year Player Draft out of Neosho County Community College in Chanute, Kansas. Strahm also started for the Padres, Medias Rojas and the last three years for the Filis, who was an All-Star in 2024, with a 1.87 ERA in 66 appearances.

There are also 66 appearances with an efficiency of 2.74 during this period, and there is an efficiency of 3.36 on your run, from 395 appearances.

He has a $7.5 million salary next time out with an option that activates, part of a deal that will pay him $15 million for 2025 and 2026. He can become a free agent after the 2026 World Series.
