Yankees in midst of another six-game losing streak
It has been almost a quarter of a century since the Yankees underwent separate six -game games in the same season.
The last time it happened was in September / October 2000, when the Yankees abandoned 13 of their last 15 regular season games, including the last seven.
But the current Yankees equaled this little enviable feat on Saturday, when their 12-6 defeat against the dishes to Citi Field extended their last slip to six games in a row.
The Yankees have now lost 16 of their last 22 games, a section that includes their two six -game slides.
“When you live it and cross it, it fears,” said manager Aaron Boone. “It hurts. But you must be able to manage it. You must be able to face it. You must be able to resist it and get out of this and grow up. ”
The dishes struck three home circuits in the rout of Saturday, including two against the start of the Yankees Carlos Rodón.

The Yankees made another error after the departure of Rodón.
