Democrat Operative Snared in FBI Sting, Charged With Distributing Child Porn – RedState
If a Democrat ever tries to lecture you about decency and morality, just give him this name: Randy Sprinkle.
Yes, it’s a real name. It’s actually the name of a Democratic operative who was just arrested by the FBI and charged with distributing child pornography. It turns out that Randon “Randy” Alexander Sprinkle, 30, was most recently finance chairman of the Virginia Democratic Party; he formerly served as a leader of the Young Democrats of Virginia and worked in 2025 as campaign treasurer for Richmond City Council Vice President Katherine Jordan.

And now Mr. Sprinkle is in big trouble with the law. It appears he was an avid user of an app called “Jack’d,” which bills itself as “the premier social app for gay, bi, trans and queer people” and boasts over 15 million members. While using Jack’d (under the name “Randy”, incidentally), Sprinkle unknowingly made contact with an undercover FBI agent working at the FBI field office in Manassas, Virginia; the agent is referred to as “OCE” in the 9-page affidavit against Sprinkle filed Friday.
Here is the Sprinkle exchange initiated on the application:
Randy: “Hey, how are you?”
OCE: “What’s up man”
Randy: “I’m just excited, telegram”
OCE: “Let’s go Randy, what is your TV”
Randy: “hmudmv9, I have a face picture by the way”
Once the conversation was forwarded to Telegram, Sprinkle informed the agent of his twisted and perverted interests: “Mainly for Yng, rape, incest.” Sprinkle then sent the officer a video of a young boy being sexually assaulted by an adult man. We won’t go into any more detail, but suffice it to say that Sprinkle was allegedly involved in some very nasty and horrible stuff.

Sprinkle gave federal authorities enough reason to step in and make an arrest.
According to a criminal complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the filer “completed mining” of Sprinkle’s computer “and found two archived files constituting child pornography,” and one of the referenced files “consists of a 16-second video that shows the erect penis of an adult male entering the mouth of an infant.” The Richmond FBI executed a federal search warrant on October 16, 2025.
It appears that several prominent Virginia Democrats were friends with Randy Sprinkle.
Here’s Jordan, who hired Sprinkle to work on his 2024 campaign:
“What has been alleged is disgusting and abhorrent,” Jordan said in a statement. “I am shocked and disgusted.”
First District Council Member Andrew Breton, who also employed Sprinkle for his campaign finance services, said, “The allegations are shocking and disturbing. I am grateful that law enforcement is involved and that justice is taking its course.
Democratic Rep. Jennifer McClellan (VA-04) appeared to be friends with Sprinkle, apparently appearing alongside him in several photos posted to social media. Her reaction, via a spokesperson: “Congresswoman McClellan is shocked by these appalling accusations which should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”
Randy Sprinkle now faces federal charges of distribution of child pornography and is being held at the Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, Virginia.
