Nicki Minaj Praises Trump and Vance at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest, Slams Gavin ‘Newscum’ Newsom

Rap megastar Nicki Minaj praised President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest on Sunday. “This administration is full of heart and soul people, and they make me proud of them,” she said, adding that Trump and Vance make her “proud to be American.”
“I have the utmost respect and admiration for our president,” Minaj said. “I don’t know if he knows it, but he gave so many people hope that there is a chance to defeat the bad guys, to win, and to do it with your head held high and your integrity intact.”

The “Super Bass” singer went on to say that President Trump has “publicly been through everything a person can go through” and has been “constantly lied to.”
“Until you are in the shoes of that person who is being lied to, you will never understand what it feels like,” she added. “This person is a human being, they have a family that has to read these lies, and it’s just not fair.”
“But this administration is full of people with heart and soul, and they make me proud of them,” Minaj said.
“Our vice president – well, I love them both – they’re both powerful men, smart, strong, all that, but both have a very uncanny ability to be someone that you identify with,” the Anaconda singer continued.
“I can relate to them,” she added. “When I hear them speak, I know that they are one of us: they have not lost contact with the world. They are still connected to the world and to what is happening in the world.”
“They have the ability to stay connected, to be real and to make us proud to be Americans,” Minaj said.
The “Starships” singer also read her recent X-rated posts loudly criticizing Governor Newsom for AmericaFest attendees.
After Erika Kirk asked if she had anything to say to the California governor, the rap star replied, “Dear Newscum, we have no problem cleaning up this scum if we have to. Please tread lightly.”

Turning Point USA surprised its tens of thousands of AmericaFest attendees on Sunday by closing the event with Minaj, who has been increasingly outspoken on political issues in recent months.
A source familiar with the logistics of planning Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest 2025 told Breitbart News that arrangements for the rap megastar to attend the event were made after the September 10 assassination of Charlie Kirk.
Minaj’s decision to speak at the conference after Kirk’s horrific murder underscores how her assassination inspired figures outside of traditional conservative circles — who might otherwise remain silent — to more boldly express their beliefs, honoring the free speech martyr who lost her life by engaging in open dialogue.
Turning Point USA’s annual year-end conference – the organization’s first AmericaFest since the horrific assassination of its founder – attracted more than 30,000 attendees, making this year’s event the largest event in Turning Point USA’s history.
