Earth's growing heat imbalance driven more by clouds than air pollution, study finds

The Earth is absorbing more energy than it is releasing into space – a growing “energy imbalance” that is fueling global warming. A new study led by scientists at the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric and Earth Science finds that recent changes in air pollution are not the main reason for the increase in this imbalance.
