Laptop Bombshells and Dad’s Failures – RedState

Hunter Biden conducted a controversial interview with podcaster Shawn Ryan, which was published on Monday.

It was over five hours long and people felt like Ryan didn’t push back enough on some of the things Hunter said.

Some elements were surprising, such as his comments on illegal immigration.

We need dynamic immigration.

But we don’t want immigrants who come here illegally to drain us of our resources and also be prioritized above people who are real literal heroes… who are coming home, who are still recovering from 21, 20 years of endless war – or anyone else in our society.

His father’s tenure was marked by a massive influx of illegal immigration, and even today, people on the left are lobbying against the Trump administration for enforcing the law and deporting people.

Hunter also admitted that his father had “real failures.” He called the withdrawal from Afghanistan under his father’s leadership a “clear failure.”

“I think there was a better way to do this,” he said.

Meanwhile, his father insisted he was right.

But then there were times like that wild laptop comment, where he says there’s no laptop.

No laptop could have held all of this.

So many emails can’t fit on a laptop? Anyone want to explain to Hunter how things work?

But this claim is far-fetched because Biden’s FBI checked out the laptop and used it in his trial in June 2024.

He also threw a “poor me” joke, saying he had a lot of debt and his family had no “generational wealth.”

You only go into debt like this if you had money at some point. And does he want to explain all the ways he spent all that money, some of which were visible on the laptop?

Some, like CNN commentator and Salem Radio host Scott Jennings, wondered why his artistic career didn’t solve the problem.

People also found this moment particularly ironic:

“The people who benefit are the ones who somehow always avoid the consequences,” he said.

Wait, isn’t this the same guy who got an incredibly extensive pardon from his father?

If he thought this was going to improve him in any way, he should think again.
