Crime Drops at Record Rate in Trump’s America

President Donald Trump’s administration is rolling back the massive crime waves overseen by Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, according to a crime report released by Axios.com.
“Murders in the United States are on track for the largest one-year decline on record,” says Axios.com’s coverage of data collected by the website Real Time Crime Index, which compiles data from 570 law enforcement agencies.
The site reports nearly 7,300 murders in the 12 months to October 2025, compared to 8,852 in the 12 months before the May 2020 death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The murder rate climbed to 12,000 over the next 12 months of Democratic promotion of “racial reckoning” and “Black Lives Matter.”
Trump’s 2025 murder rate is lower than the 8,192 seen in the 12 months to April 2019.
The record saves the lives of thousands of Americans compared to Biden and Obama, who helped spark a crime wave just before the 2014 midterm elections by endorsing claims that police officers were shooting many African Americans.
Trump’s emphasis on law and order — along with his nationwide crackdown on illegal immigration — has also reduced auto thefts by nearly a quarter, murders by 20 percent, thefts by 18 percent, burglaries by 15 percent and violent crime by 10 percent.
The crackdown is helping to bring the number of murders back to levels before the crime boom of the 1960s.
Since January, Trump’s aides have expelled about 600,000 migrants, many of whom had lengthy criminal records.
His team also helped persuade many other migrants to return home safely.
