Outgoing Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene told the New York Times Magazine that President Donald Trump lacks “faith” and does not reciprocate his loyalty.

She also said she disapproves of the “sexualization of MAGA Mar-a-Lago” and indicated that she expects the United States to engage in “more war” as the president seeks to maintain his grip on power.

Greene, once an ardent Trump supporter, who had a dramatic falling out with the Republican Party heavyweight this year, and delivers scathing criticism of the president she once praised.

Here are some takeaways from his comments as reported by the Times:

Greene says Trump ‘has no faith’

Earlier this year, during his speech at the memorial service for slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk, Trump said of Kirk: “He didn’t hate his opponents. He wanted the best for them. That’s where I disagreed with Charlie. I hate my opponent. And I don’t want the best for them.”

On the other hand, Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, announced that she had forgiven the alleged murderer.

“It just shows where her heart is. And that’s the difference, because she has a sincere Christian faith, and that proves he has no faith,” Greene said, according to the Times.

Greene on the “sexualization of MAGA Mar-a-Lago”

Greene opposed what she called “sexualization” among MAGA women.

“I never liked the sexualization of MAGA Mar-a-Lago. I believe the way women leaders present themselves sends a message to young women,” she noted, according to the Times.

“I have two daughters and I have always been uncomfortable with the way these women puff out their lips and enlarge their breasts. I have never spoken about it publicly, but I planned to,” she noted.

Greene says House Speaker Mike Johnson is following White House orders

Greene suggested that House Speaker Mike Johnson was just following orders from the White House.

“I want you to know that Johnson is not our spokesperson,” Greene said, according to the Times. “He’s not our leader. And in the Legislature – a totally separate body of government – he’s literally 100 percent under direct orders from the White House. And many, many Republicans are so angry about this, but they’re cowards.”

The White House responds

The White House pushed back on Greene’s comments about Johnson, telling Fox News Digital: “We have a very collaborative relationship with President Johnson, just as we do with Leader Thune, which is why we have had so much success this year.”

White House spokesman Davis Ingle accused Greene of “petty bitterness.”

“President Trump remains the undisputed leader of the largest and fastest growing political movement in American history – the MAGA movement. On the other hand, Congresswoman Greene is abandoning her constituents in the middle of her term and abandoning the consequential fight we are in – we have no time for her petty bitterness,” Ingle noted in a statement.
