2 displaced in fire in Chatham neighborhood

Two people were displaced Tuesday evening in a fire that broke out at a residence in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side, Chicago police said.
Around 11:45 p.m., Chicago police and firefighters responded to a call about a fire in the 8000 block of South Stewart Avenue and extinguished the fire where two adults were displaced, officials said. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
