Cops investigating yet another suspected suicide at Disney World
Another suspected suicide took place at Walt Disney World this weekend, following the series of deaths and medical emergencies at the Orlando park in late 2025.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office tells TMZ it is investigating a possible suicide after discovering a man deceased at the Orange Garage in Disney Springs on Friday around 9 p.m.
OCSO did not immediately respond to the Daily News’ request for more information.
The House of Mouse has seen an incredible number of deaths in recent months, the majority of which took place at the Florida theme park. The series of incidents began in early October, with the death of a visitor in her 60s after she became unconscious at the Haunted Mansion attraction at Disneyland in California.
In mid-October, a 31-year-old woman died of an apparent suicide at Disney World’s Contemporary Resort, which also became the site of a 28-year-old man’s suicide just 10 days later.
Between these two deaths, a man in his 60s suffered a fatal “medical episode” at Disney World’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.
November began with the death of a woman in her 40s, who was transported from the park to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
In late November, in the middle of the night, a 73-year-old man disappeared while on a Disney Wonder cruise between Australia and New Zealand. Authorities believe he died after jumping from the ship into the waters of the Tasman Sea.
In early December, a video showed a bystander trying to save a man who had collapsed during a Magic Kingdom parade. It is unknown if this person survived their medical emergency.
And last Tuesday, a Disney World staff member jumped in front of a huge rock when it fell off the track during the “Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular!” ” to show. The employee was hailed as a hero for saving guests in the audience, but was ultimately struck by the 400-pound coin himself.
Park officials confirmed to The News that it is “recovering,” although its current condition is unclear.
