Man charged in deadly double shooting in Paulsboro, New Jersey

A man faces murder charges after a fatal double shooting in Paulsboro, Gloucester County.
Police said they responded to a call along Elizabeth Avenue shortly after 8 a.m. Sunday morning.
When officers arrived, Roman Acevedo, 40, identified himself and told police he had shot two people.
According to investigators, Acevedo admitted to intentionally shooting an adult woman and then accidentally shooting a juvenile after he was caught holding the gun.

The adult female was pronounced dead at the scene.
The youngest victim was rushed to hospital for treatment, his condition has not been released.
Acevedo was charged with first-degree murder.
The investigation is ongoing with the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office.
