Kamala Condemns Trump for ‘Unlawful and Unwise’ Take Down of Maduro, Gets Hit by Inconvenient Fact – RedState
Kamala Harris released a statement in response to the near-flawless operation that led to the capture of socialist dictator Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores. Unsurprisingly, she condemned President Trump’s actions and echoed the sentiments of left-wing agitators that the strongman’s capture was illegal.
Harris posted his thoughts on X on Saturday evening. They included the oft-used trope that “Maduro is a bad guy… but here’s why he should have been allowed to roam free.”
“Donald Trump’s actions in Venezuela do not make America safer, stronger or more affordable,” she said, although Maduro’s fall undoubtedly makes America safer, while the operation demonstrated the clear strength of our nation.
“The fact that Maduro is a brutal and illegitimate dictator does not change the fact that this action was both illegal and reckless,” the former vice president continued. “We’ve seen this movie before. Wars for regime change or for oil that are sold as strength but turn into chaos, and American families pay the price.”
“The American people don’t want this and they are tired of being lied to.”

Harris then suggested that Trump had put his troops in harm’s way (the operation resulted in no U.S. troop losses) and that he had no exit plan after Maduro’s capture.
Which is rich. Low IQ Wine Mom who defended the withdrawal from Afghanistan, which sadly resulted in the deaths of 13 US service members and injured dozens more, especially because the Biden-Harris administration lacked a coherent plan and has few thoughts on troop risks and exit strategy.
Thank goodness this woman is not sitting in the White House right now.
“America needs leadership whose priorities are lowering costs for working families, upholding the rule of law, strengthening alliances and, most importantly, putting the American people first,” she concluded.
Harris, of course, was part of an administration that did the exact opposite of every argument in that last sentence.
Besides the insipid response, Kamala faces a slight problem with the previous administration. While she condemns Trump for capturing Maduro, it was former President Biden who, in one of his final acts in office, announced a $25 million bounty for information leading to Maduro’s arrest.

Kamala’s rush to condemn President Trump’s decisive, no-loss capture of Nicolás Maduro reveals her stunning hypocrisy. But it also reminds us that America has strong leadership that produces real results.
Harris would have been the antithesis of that.
Ultimately, Kamala’s partisan collapse only underscores why voters rejected her — and why Trump’s strength, America First, allows her to achieve victories she never could have.
