CES Live Blog, Day 1: The Coolest Tech We’ve Seen So Far
Hello and welcome to WIRED’s CES 2026 live blog. We’re here on the ground in Las Vegas, Nevada, bringing you all the latest news, how-to reports, photos and videos from the biggest consumer technology show.
CES 2026 officially begins today, January 5, but the first day of CES is usually reserved for media previews. We’ve already seen much of what’s been announced this year at these preview events, and the announcements will continue to roll out over the course of the first day as all the big companies reveal their products. THE bigger the day at CES is Tuesday; that’s when the exhibit hall opens to the public, and so that’s when we get to see the big spectacle that CES is known for: the light shows, the crazy concept cars, the giant walls of TVs. But we still have a ton more to show you today, so stick around and keep this page open in a tab. The live blog will automatically refresh with updates throughout the day.
